The status of my work...

A short snap-shot when lunch is on the stove (or is the proper word "cooker"?? :))... I got an email from a friend this morning and it awoke thoughts...

About the status of our work - this topic has come back on this work-place... That we are seriously and professionally working, and have a fairly solid education...

We have felt, and still feels, as the staus isn't that high... Yes, how is it in fact appreciated?

So many of us have to prove it? :)

And why have I chosen this work, with this status and chosen a work which is moderately well paid?

And we work with this because it is so fun!!?? So what about being paid for it always... At least it is so here?

Additon: what activities in society are valued? And which are less valued? Which persons are valued and who is less valued? What is worth something and what is less worth? What is important and what is less important?

Gränslöst arbete/limitless work...

Många som är tänjda på jobbet? Vi är många ”duktiga”? Och det här jobbet blir lätt gränslöst? Både yrke och hobby!

Nu under lovet fick jag tag på en tidskrift "Arbetsliv" (en väldigt bra tidskrift?), som en av mina bröder får (han jobbar på miljö- och hälsoskyddskontor, är agronom)… I den stod det saker om detta och om arbetsmiljö… Om kreativitet i jobbet och dess betydelse, samt i vilken utsträckning människor får vara kreativa i jobbet…

Saker jag skulle vilja utveckla vidare i bloggar när jag så småningom får mer tid…

Till helgen ska ett syskonbarn konfirmeras, så då går en stor del av den till det… Vi har också en jobbgrej nu på lördag, pingstafton…

Och vi pratade faktiskt också om tystnadsplikt apropå elever och elevvårdsärenden igår på vårt andra möte (om esteteleverna)… Och apropå inlägget om tystnadsplikt för präster.

Detta gäller också oss som arbetstagare… Respekt mot oss…

Integritet och gränser…

Och vi pratade också om att hjälpa elever att prioritera… Somliga har tusen järn i elden och det är kanske främst de som också är duktiga hos oss som är duktiga i annat.

Many at work which are stretched now!? There is a lot of “clever” people at work? This work has also this character, of limitlessness, being both work and hobby. Self-knowledge is extremely important!? So you know where our limits are?

Read a magazine this weekend, which one of my brothers gets… He works in the environmental and health protection (?), he is agronomist… And it stood about diffuse and limitless work-places of today in it, and about the importance of being able to use ones creativity at work… And it also stood about investigations here about the degree of which people get opportunities to express and use their creativity…

And we also spoke about the professional secrecy on are second meeting yesterday concerning pupils…

I think this concerns us too as employed… Respect against us… We aren’t villein or serfs after all? Or are we?

That about integrity and borders…

We also spoke about helping our students to prioritize between all their activities. The ones that are clever at our work are clever in all other areas too… Often…

English words of today “villein” which means "livegen" and "serf” which means "livegen, träl" in Swedish.

Helle Klein och tystnadsplikten...

A Swedish journalist now finishing her studies to ”priest” (in the Swedish church, a Lutheran church) writes in her blog about the priests’ obligation to observe silence (professional secrecy) which is absolute…

English word or rather expression of today “obligation to observe silence” or “professional secrecy” which means tystnadsplikt in Swedish.
